M/s ‘machine makers r.s.’ have developed and manufactured Cutting machine for Heat shrink tubes as well as other plastic tubes and sleeves. It cuts the sleeves to accurate length and also that too at a very high speed... The machine uses special guides for different types and sizes of sleeves/tubes. This ensures a good cut. All other setting is completely digital.

This machine is tabletop, user-friendly, and automatic. It is available with Microprocessor controls. A simple and smart keypad and display is used for setting the length, target quantity, batch qty and other processing parameters. It comes with in-built production counter, which indicates the number of cuts taken.

The standard machines can cut heat shrink tubes from 3mm dia to 20 mm dia. Round tubes of upto 10 mm diameter can be cut on this machine.

The length can be set from 5mm to 9meters.

Depending upon the length, the machine can process around 3000-12000 pieces per hour. (You may require separate de-reeler to provide free sleeve to machine.)

The machine works on single-phase electric supply and 5 bar pneumatic supply. One should have a compressor of 2 hp capacity to utilize this machine fully.

Special machines for other specific customer needs can also be developed by m/s ‘machine makers r.s.’

M/s ‘machine makers r.s.’ have introduced a ‘Power Cable Cutting machine’ for cutting multi-core Power cables & battery cables. 

This is a specially developed High Speed High Accuracy machine for cutting of power cables, battery cables as well as single core wires. The machine can be used for processing flat cables, as well.

This power-packed machine ensures high production volumes and low manufacturing costs. With these machines, the cost of cable cutting is around 10 to 15 paisa per 100 cables. A stepper motor drive and an encoder feedback system ensure high accuracy in length. Machine being accurate, it saves copper and often the saving in copper cost is much more than the labour saving. Most importantly, this machine does not require any compressor, and can be operated with single-phase electric supply. A combination of motor, vector drive delivers a very high cutting force. The machine’s noise level is also quite low. This machine is tabletop, user-friendly, and automatic. Any operator can be trained within 5 minutes to operate it. Machine is available with Microprocessor controls. A simple and smart keypad and display is used for setting the length, target quantity, batch qty and other processing parameters.

It comes with in-built production counter, which indicates the number of cuts taken. The standard machine (Model CTO 16) can is able to cut copper braided ropes of upto 11 mm diameter or battery cables of upto 50 sq mm.

These machines can cut wires and cables of length from 5mm to 9meters. A special version for upto 25 meters is also available. Depending upon the length, this machine can process around 1000-2200 pieces per hour. To get a proper speed and length, a wire pre-feeding arrangement such as de-reeler may be required. The same is not within the scope of this machine.
The machine can also be hooked upto online cable / chord extrusion plant with the help of a dancer roller arrangement. This helps in avoiding in-process inventory and boosts productivity.
